Lumo is a website concept for a 3D product content studio that makes CGI product films, virtual photography and CGI social ads for consumer brands. The site has to prove that CGI can sell a product, so the work leads: launch films and campaign stills open the page before any copy does.
The case for CGI is made with a side-by-side of the old way, where one launch shoot adds up studio rental, crew, set build, sample shipping, retouching and reshoots, against a single digital twin that is modelled once and re-rendered for every new colourway. A three-step process (blueprint, clay model, final render) shows how a product goes from CAD files or a few phone photos to finished content.
