Isobath — Depth charts for your codebase

Isobath is a SaaS website concept for a developer tool that maps the parts of a codebase that are slow and risky to change. It measures each module's depth, meaning the cost of changing that code safely, redlines deep water on pull requests and shows the depth falling as the team fixes it.

We built the whole site around a nautical chart. Modules appear as soundings on a depth scale, the scoring formula is drawn as a chart sheet you can read signal by signal, and a side-by-side compares what a team remembers about its riskiest code with what the tool actually measured. The metaphor turns an abstract engineering metric into something a CTO or engineering manager understands at a glance.
